Are you an experienced events fundraiser looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting vacancy with a leading animal charity on a 12 month maternity contract as their new Special Events Manager. This is a key role within the fundraising directorate, and will be responsible for the special events programme, which includes several high profile annual events. The post holder will develop a strategy that maximises income opportunities for the charity, and will build and maintain successful relationships with high value supporters. They will take responsibility for the budget, expenditure and income, and deliver concise and accurate reports to the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships on a regular basis. The successful candidate will have significant special events experience, and will be able to demonstrate success within their previous role. They will be an inspiring leader, able to motivate and manage a high-performing team, leading them to achieve and excel ambitious targets. Budget management experience will be essential, as will be the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
