Credit Control / Sales Ledger job for a leading technology business based in Swinton, Manchester. £21,000
Your new company
You will be working for a company which has gone through a huge amount of growth over recent years, with over 20 separate businesses acquired in recent years. Having set up a new office in Manchester, they are looking to bring skilled staff into the team to be part of a finance team of 8 who will be based on the Mezzanine within the main office.
Your new role
In your new job you'll be working as part of a small finance team to manage a £2.5 million ledger, working on both the manual billing of around 500 live clients, along with chasing of outstanding invoices. With invoices ranging from £200 - £60,000 you will need to be adaptable and confident in approaching clients with varied contracts in place.
Using a Sage based accounts system, along with excel you will work fairly autonomously to manage your own debtors, working in partnership with the Accounts and Sales teams to resolve queries. You new company is focused upon improving profit levels, and therefore always promote their accounts team to critically look at all their contracts to identify potential issues.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience working in a hand-on Credit Control job, with a structured and positive approach. You will be out-going and confident in working with both internal and external parties to ensure the cashflow of the business.
