Avenue 4 Forces have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a market leader in the EU within the Fitness Equipment Maintenance and Service Industry. The Field Service Engineer will be electrically or mechanically trained and will provide the highest level of customer service to all customers; offering repair resolutions for all reported product faults, preventative maintenance servicing, fault diagnosis together with general maintenance and installation of equipment. The role will involve customer interface and a professional manner accompanied by excellent communication skills are a must. Where required, a two week on boarding process will take place at HQ followed by operations carried out from home across the SW. The Field Service Engineer will have the ability to work effectively under their own initiative with guidance from head office. They will have the ability to build good working relationships with customers whilst ensuring that all activities carried out comply with the Company's Quality Management System, Health and Safety legislation and legal stipulations. A flexible approach to work and tasks is essential along with good administration skills to ensure customers, the company systems and office personnel are kept fully up to date with work progress. A full, clean UK driving license is also required. Key Duties: Service and Repair - attend commercial and residential sites to repair reported issues within the specified service level agreement, or carry out routine maintenance in accordance with guidelines and procedures, as allocated by the Service Manager. Update and completion of each job to include parts used during the job via PDA's and job sheets, also ensuring procedures regarding updating systems and office are met. Responsible for the replenishment of the parts on assigned company vehicle. Maintenance of company property including vehicle, tool kits and uniform. Qualifications and Experience A formal Mechanical or Electrical qualification would be advantageous, although not essential; however experience in mechanical and electrical repair is essential. A full driving licence is required
