JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Senior Marketing Manager (and EMEA Team) on brand building strategy for the brand
• Liaise with global brand holder and EMEA MU stakeholders to contribute to brand strategy development

1. EVENT STRATEGY AND MANAGEMENT

• Working with the Senior Marketing Manager, develop well-paced Marketing calendars per retailer, incorporating national events, product previews, roadshows and exclusive retailer offers
• Support SMM with the planning and implementation of timely advertising campaigns
• Maintain a product assortment that reflects the needs of each channel
• Present launch plans and retailer-specific marketing plans at retailer strategy meetings and ensure that all new launches are supported with all relevant retailers
• Work seamlessly alongside National Account Managers and be the main marketing point of contact for retailers. Ensure that NARS seizes all opportunities offered by partner retailers to build awareness, reinforce our three core brand pillars (Artistry / Fashion / François Nars), recruit new clients and increase frequency of visits to our counters
• In liaison with Global Marketing / Design teams and Senior Marketing Manager, spearhead the production of local support tools for each retailer (i.e. local kits, events collaterals, roadshows, retailer windows, etc.) within budget constraints
• In close collaboration with Events Coordinator, support the smooth organisation of UK&I events
• Ensure local marketing plans are always up to date with the latest initiatives

2. SPECIAL RETAILER PROJECTS

• Work closely with Regional Sales Managers visiting retail locations, plus organising and attending strategy meetings with channel partners to understand the needs of the business
• Manage the development and implementation of windows and promotional sites across our network of retail partners in partnership with VM Team
• Development of retailer specific relationships via timely and relevant marketing projects in alignment with marketing calendar

3. FORECAST PLANNING & BUDGET ANALYSIS

• Present quantities and forecasts for new product introductions and limited edition sets, and monitor regularly the on-going product forecasts with an awareness of the effect of new launches on current lines to Senior Marketing Manager and Commercial Director
• Manage the day-to-day Marketing budget including POS materials, events, collateral, testers and samples.
• Liaise with Senior Marketing Manager to ensure money is spent wisely and all expenses recorded accurately within the agreed budget

4. ANALYSIS & REPORTING

• Liaise with relevant parties to measure + communicate back to UK / EU Management ROI of all initiatives including brand eventing i.e. Glamour Beauty Festival
• Lead and manage post campaign analysis of all major launches to be shared with the wider UK and ROI team as well as globally.
• Manage Marketing Co-ordinator to ensure monthly collation on all relevant competitor initiatives in terms of product launches, merchandising and specific retailer marketing campaigns

5. CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Establish regular two-way communication with Area Sales Managers, Commercial Coordinator and Events Coordinator to achieve consistency across the market as well as receiving quality feedback

6. GENERAL & REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role is essential
• Previous experience in beauty or leading department store chain is essential - experience in premium / luxury beauty a plus - experience with leading beauty FMCG a good alternative
• Responsive and reliable to all stakeholders
• Charismatic, collaborative, passionate and driven
• Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent presentation skills and a strong commercial acumen
• Resourceful; a self-starter and positive attitude
