Sage Bookkeeper job opportunity in Harpenden.
Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper job opportunity working for an accountancy firm based in Harpenden. you will be assisting the Practice Manager with the internal accounts functions for the firm. Full-time preferred but part time will be considered, minimum of 24 hours per week. Some of your duties will include: - Purchase ledger- inputting supplier invoices and monthly payment run - Sales ledger- liaise with and support the credit controller - Bank reconciliations- daily postings of all accounts to the various ledgers - Assist with the monthly accounts preparation to trial balance. Payroll - assist with monthly preparations and reconciliations - VAT - assist with preparation of data for the quarterly returns. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years SAGE Line 50 and bookkeeping experience. A strong understanding of accounts to trial balance level. The ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative when needed. Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people of all levels.
