IT Support Engineer - Basingstoke - Permanent Role - £30,000

An innovative global organisation based in Basingstoke are currently looking to take on an IT Support Engineer due to an internal promotion.
Your new role
You will be the first point of contact of the IT Department with a day to day responsibility to provide first class support to over 100 internal users, this will be for both users offsite and onsite. Reporting directly to the IT Manager you will be supporting him in any hardware or software implementations taking place across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be dealing with stakeholders at all levels. You will also have also worked in a position where you were supporting over 100 internal users previously.
You will have a knowledge of Windows Servers and Operating Servers as well as iOS. Good knowledge of software packages like MS Office 2010 applications, web clients, MS Project and SAPGUI will be also be key.
Having an understanding of networking and firewall will also be very beneficial for this role.
You will need to be able to drive as you will be required to travel to their other office in Cambridgeshire once a month.
