The Company

OKA is a successful multi-channel retailer of beautiful, unique and affordable furniture and accessories for the home. To date we have 13 shops and an extensive mail order business, as well as an online and trade business with many thousands of customers throughout the UK and the world beyond.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Showroom Manager for our store in Abingdon. You will have accountability for the day to day operational issues and for achieving sales and P&L targets for your store. You will take ownership for recruiting, training and managing the showroom team.

Requirements

You must be an experienced Store Manager with a proven track record. Experience of and enthusiasm for working in high-end retail home ware is essential. We are particularly looking for your:

  • Leadership ability
  • Management and development of others
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Exemplary management skills

You will be able to demonstrate a good commercial awareness, possess a natural flair for interiors and in-store merchandising and also have a good eye for detail.

You will be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work, but will also be tenacious, hard working and reliable. In addition, you will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills with an above reproach attitude.
