My client is a leading Private Healthcare company in Central London and is looking for someone to manage the AP process (and possibly Sales Ledger as well). My client would like someone quite experienced who is not phased by dealing with difficult creditors. Ideal start date 11 Jan, location Central London. 3 Months rolling contract.


Assist, support and take ownership of quality accounts payable for all companies on a monthly basis. To make sure that all month end deadlines are completed accurately. The position will partner with the Commercial Accountants and ensure that all AP invoices are processed, paid and supplier statements are completed each month. This role will also be responsible for cash collection and AR management. They will also be the central support for the finance team on the system (Sage 200) with queries and training. There will also be line management responsibility for the AP department.


-Input and maintain records on Excel, SAGE and in-house systems
-Liaise with Suppliers and SBS clients to ensure timely submission and input of data
-Assist Management Accountant in preparation of monthly financial reports
-Assist in the raising of customer invoices, debtor queries
-Responsible for key tasks during the month end process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of results, in line with standard accountancy practices.
-Management of the AP department for all companies.
-Adhoc financial analysis and data reports as required by the business.
-Perform other duties as required

Key requirements

Qualified or final stage accountancy professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA)

The candidate will have to manage a number of requests and tasks at one time and must be prepared to deal with emergencies and stressful situations at any time.
