Are you an experienced FM Engineer with Electrical qualifications? Are you a driver with transport, living in the Essex area? This is a great opportunity to join the maintenance team of an established national company providing FM cover and support on various Essex sites. What does the role offer? (Earnings/Benefits): * Basic salary of £27k (with potential for substantially more depending on times and hours worked - plenty of overtime available which is paid up to double time) * Permanent role within a large successful company - normal full time Mon-Fri hours (start/finish times dependent on specific site) * Workplace pension scheme * Full PPE provided * Generous 30 days paid holiday (22 days plus bank holidays) per annum * Ongoing training provided as/when required ensuring compliance and working effectiveness. * Immediate start The Candidate: * Applicants must have the following electrical qualifications or equivalent; * City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR * NVQ 2356 / 2357 OR * City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR * AM1 and AM2 * AND City & Guilds 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008) * In addition to the above, applicants who also have served a recognised apprenticeship and have the following will be preferred:- * City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (2394/5) * JIB Accredited. * IPAF / PASMA * Full UK Driving license and own transport required to get to sites * Significant experience in providing building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing. * Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance. * Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties. * Experience of working within data centres an advantage. * Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements. The Role: Responsibilities include: * Responsibility for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and HVAC PPM's, proactive and reactive works issued within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded * Responsibility for other ad-hoc building services tasks * To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their RAMS, workmanship, etc so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work * To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction * To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary * Obtaining and raising quotes and PO's from sub-contractors and suppliers * Ensuring compliance with H&S regulations, risk assessment, COSHH etc * Ensuring all statutory compliance requirements are met * Suggest improvements and innovations to improve the service provided Please send a CV detailing your relevant experience and including full contact details for immediate and confidential consideration by our Senior Consultant.
