We currently have an opportunity for an Account Manager within our Office Trade Division. The role will be based in, and covering, the North West.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will have accountability and responsibility for increasing the sales and profitability of our Trade products within a portfolio of Office Paper and Supplies accounts, whilst developing new prospects and opportunities.

This position will suit someone with an Office Supplies, Office Papers, Packaging Sales or a strong sales background looking to work for a market leading organisation with a great culture built on our Values and Behaviours.

Desired Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver budget and margin performance in line with personal and regional targets.

  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Advisor team and Support functions, developing action plans for all customers within your portfolio based on customer needs, market share, profitability and potential to increase sales.

  • Lead negotiations to determine price structures, contract terms and payment conditions.

  • Develop sales of the complete product range and apply pricing methods and value added opportunities to increase profitability.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of our products and the market we operate in, coupled with the desire to drive for results.

Demonstrate Knowledge of:

  • Understanding of Office/Print products, customers and market trends.

  • Extensive Understanding of Sales and Customer Service principles - including negotiation, influencing and communication skills.

Demonstrate Skills in:

  • Self-Management principles including Organisation, Time Management and delivering against deadlines.

  • Negotiation and relationship building

  • Sales

The salary for this vacancy is from £28k- £30k. This role includes the below benefits Sales Incentive, Pension Scheme, Life Insurance, Cycle to Work Scheme, Childcare and Eyecare vouchers, Flexible Holiday Scheme (after qualifying period)
