Visual Studio Software Developer £40,000 - £55,000 Hertfordshire Permanent Our major UK Aerospace and Defence client are currently looking to recruit an experienced Visual Studio Software Test Development Engineer to address the increasing workload in their Test Systems team as a result of ever increasing product manufacturing and business expansion. The Test Systems team is tasked with supplying a range of test solutions for Simulators and Field Support equipment, and the current vacancy is a fantastic opportunity to develop both technical and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be a capable Software Design and Development Engineer who will join the multi-disciplinary Test Systems team - which includes mechanical and electronic design engineers - to develop software for test equipment used in product development and production pass-out. The role is that of a full life-cycle process, and will include designing software solutions, implementing designs to demanding customer requirements, performing integration activities where test equipment hardware, software and the unit come together for the first time, and identifying and finding solutions for subsequent problems.
