Our client, a large Insurance firm is looking to recruit a 'project consolidation accountant' who can join their Finance Development Programme through which they are re-engineering their IFRS statutory and management reporting systems and processes. This is a very exciting opportunity to transform the current manual and time consuming consolidation and reporting processes and introduce automation and better controls. Key focus of this role will be defining and testing the consolidation process in the system and leading the migration of Group journals,

Essential experience required:

Worked within a large multi national, multi currency group - preferably within a Group consolidation function or a regional office with sub consolidations.
Experience of more than one reporting/consolidation system.
Key technical skills - problem solving in particular in areas relating to intercompany and investment in subsidiaries
Key soft skills - self starter and takes ownership/ responsibility. Good communication - written and verbal
