A small, friendly leading manufacturing organisation with more than 100 sites across the globe are looking for a Components Buyer / Stores man to join their team in Northampton.
Your new role
The role of Components Buyer / Stores Manager will include; managing the stores organisation and improvements, purchasing the components and good needed for the production process and day to day receiving of goods and storage as well as releasing goods out and documentation for all goods receipts and shipments. In addition, you will have a direct involvement in the development and sourcing of new components / suppliers, and identify alternative suppliers to avoid risk of non-sourcing with a focus on UK Suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Stores Manager/Components Buyer will have experience gained in a Purchasing / Stores role in a production environment. ERP experience is desirable but a strong IT experience is essential. You will need to be able to meet demanding deadlines and possess strong planning skills and a highly organised approach to work.
What you'll get in return

Hours are 7:30 - 4:30 Monday to Thursday and 7:30 - 12:30 on a Friday
