PMO Tutor / Assessor
Purpose of RoleThe purpose of the post is to deliver underpinning knowledge sessions and assess in a workplace environment within our apprenticeship provision. To carry out teaching and learning activities; participate in the planning, development and implementation of provision. Delivering and assessing learners work to a high standard in line with awarding bodies qualification frameworks and business requirements. Roles and Responsibilities
·Design and deliver innovative training courses and training materials
·To support the Course Leader and Programme Manager in meeting required business targets.
·Prepare, adapt, organise and maintain learning resources and/or equipment.
- To have the ability and experience required to use technology (online learning/e.portfolios) to aid delivery/assessment.
- Deliver BIT and PMO apprenticeships to required frameworks.
- To prepare quality documentation to support classroom delivery of underpinning knowledge applicable to this programme (including SOW, Lesson Plans and course delivery materials) and evaluate customer satisfaction.
- To visit learners in the workplace and assess competence, maintaining learners’ records, liaising with learners and employer.
·Set up the learning environment and undertake the day to day maintenance of equipment.
·Prepare for instructing, assessing and supervising the learning experience and the learning environment.
·Produce and carry out as directed, the organization and administration appropriate to the learning situation including the marking of registers and the submission of other returns and records.
·Produce and carry our general administration relevant to the role including:-
oRegister learners with awarding bodies
oInduction paperwork including registers
oAssessment paper work to awarding bodies standards
·Contribute to the learner’s personal development & responsibility for their own learning, and encourage self-advocacy.
·Support learners through the learning process and associated assessment activities.
·Assess, monitor and mark learners work and allied activities.
·Attend team, standardisation and other appropriate meetings as required.
·Participate in any training appropriate for the role which may require attending internal or external courses.
·Contribute to the ongoing development of schemes of work; curriculum plans and self-assessment.
·Co-ordinate and participate in the internal verification and/or moderation of student work and allied activities.
·Undertake health and safety checks.
·To act at all times in accordance with NAC Group’s policies, in particular Health & Safety, Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding.To promote the highest standards of practice and ensure the effective implementation of these policies within the area of responsibility.
·To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults you are responsible for or come into contact with.

CTLLS or equivalent.E
Hold a valid accredited assessing qualification; TAQA, A1, D32/D33E
Relevant academic vocational/technical qualificationD

Level 2 or above in either Maths or English or Literacy and NumeracyE
