Network Development Manager, North West (Ref: SUS2328) £24,586 - £27,928 pro rata per annum (dependent on relevant skills and experience) 30 hours per week – based in Manchester (can be negotiated)   This is an exciting role which will be pro-active in developing cycle routes and networks, including the National Cycle Network, by project managing schemes from land acquisition and fund assembly through to construction.  This will include network and feasibility studies, cycle route design and responsibility for influencing and generating funding for future work.   With a proven track record of project management, including implementation working within an established project management framework, you will have experience in delivering feasibility studies and other reports under contract for clients, of working in partnership with other groups / organisations and of working with communities and the public sector.  Your written and verbal communications skills will be excellent as will be your negotiation and advocacy skills.  You will have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and have strong partner liaison skills.  You will be IT literate, have an understanding of cycle infrastructure design and good practice and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.   Closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 09:00am on Friday 12 January 2018.  Interviews will take place in Manchester during week commencing Monday 22 January 2018.   Sustrans is committed to reducing inequality, valuing diversity and enabling inclusion.  We welcome applications from people with the appropriate skills from all parts of the community.  -1
