Working as an Insurance Account Handler in the Halifax office this role is paying up to £25,000 to provide office based support to an Insurance Account Executive in the day to day running of the client portfolio. Dealing with insurance clients and insurer's queries from the Halifax office on a day to day basis you will be expected to have good commercial insurance skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and cultivate constructive relationships with clients and insurers to make sure your insurance portfolio runs smoothly.
Be the first point of contact for day to day enquiries from internal and external sources
Co-ordinate administration of insurance schemes including invoicing and claims data
Periodically attend client and insurer meetings with the Insurance Account Executive and proactively drive own development by seeking to improve & demonstrate technical & industry knowledge, including study for industry accredited examinations supported by the business.
Pro-actively seek, recommend improvements to processes and service, participate fully in the implementation within the team and be an advocate for change.

Our client is looking for a candidate with at least a years experience in dealing with SME commercial insurance risks who can work well as part of a small team.
