Job Summary:

Reporting into the CFO, the Management Accountant, will be responsible for preparing, developing and analysing financial information and support the company’s decision-making process.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for month end and year end processes

Preparing the monthly reporting pack (P&L, B/S, CF, KPIs and commentary) for the board to influence strategic decision making

Preparing Budgets, Forecasts and Analysis for Senior Management

Analysing business performance and advising on how to pre-empt problems

Preparing key reconciliation activities

Ensuring correct and timely payments of company’s commitments

Controlling Fixed Asset Register (audit required)

Monthly payroll preparation and reconciliation

Prepare & submit statutory reports and reconciliations (Eg. VAT)

Identifying continuous improvement initiatives

Employees may be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, per the needs of the Company

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

ACCA/CIMA/QBE qualified

Experience in budgeting and forecasting

Strong all -round management accounts knowledge in a similar role

Managed a team for at least 2-3 years

Good communicator and able to build relationships across all levels

IT literate - Word/Excel/PowerPoint (Advance) /MS Outlook/ SAGE 50

5-year check able work history or continuous education history

Skills: (Technical,Analytical)

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Commercially aware of business performance and can contribute to analytical thinking

Excellent organisation and time management skills

Excellent attention to detail

Able to work to tight deadlines
