First-Line Service Desk Technician, Poole, Up to £21,000 DOE

A well-established market leading manufacturer based in Poole requires a First Line Service Desk Technician to join their expanding team. As First Line Service Desk Technician you will be the first point of contact for all customers whilst monitoring the first line queue for new incidents and requests. You will see incidents through to escalation or resolution whilst building and maintain strong relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Ensuring the appropriate action is being taking to resolve issues and meeting set SLA's
  • Communicating with customers via telephone and email
  • Carry out remote diagnostic tests and fixes
  • Provide support and expertise to other departments including Sales and Engineering
  • Actively contribute to product and service improvements

As the ideal First Line Service Desk Technician you will have;

  • At least one year's experience within a similar Service Desk or Customer Support role
  • A general technical understand and familiarity with Microsoft applications
  • An understanding of ITIL and its objectives would be an advantage
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Quick learner and ability to adapt
