A permanent role for a Credit Controller based in Chester.

Client Details

This business is a well established and professional company with a great reputation within the legal industry. This role will be based full time in Chester.

Description

Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Controller will be looking after a business to business ledger to work within a large head office, and part of an experienced accountancy team. Key duties will include:

  • Responsible for the management of accounts
  • Collection of outstanding monies by telephone & email from both commercial and consumer customers
  • Cash allocation and taking credit card payments
  • Dealing with queries
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Liaising with internal solicitors during early stages action
  • Face to face customer meetings

Profile

The successful credit controller candidate will require the following skills:

  • Experience with business credit control

  • Excellent systems skills

  • Excellent customer service and key account handling ability

  • Able to confidently discuss overdue payments

Job Offer

The Credit Controller will be offered:
