Secondary NQTs for Core Subjects

Location: Ilford

Job start: ASAP

Salary range: £26,662 - £42,498 (Outer London Pay Scale)

If you are an excellent practitioner that is due to complete your teacher training at the end of the academic year then we would like to hear from you.

Are you looking to secure a permanent teaching position within a supportive Outer London primary school?

This school are looking for proactive NQTs who are looking for a challenge! We are a forward-thinking school who are currently going through a transitional change due to the appointment of a new Headteacher last year.

The school now has new priorities and an ethos and wish to utilise that energy to bring a positive change. The school also recently joined a Trust, which enabled them to invest highly in areas that needed improvement. Therefore, the school will be able to support the progression of more Newly Qualified Teachers and enhance the learning experience of the pupils.

We seek Secondary NQTs (English, Maths & Science) who want to help provide a supportive, stimulating environment and to share high expectations of achievement for all children. This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT to make a significant impact within this school. We seek a talented individual who feels confident and able to teach a group of independent and imaginative students and lead them to academic success.

You will be able to:

- Demonstrate 'good' if not better teaching and learning through a formal observation.

- Inspire and motivate children, staff, parents and carers

- Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and understanding

- Demonstrate creativity and innovation in the classroom.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of young people. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced criminal records check (DBS). For more information please contact Esther at CER on or e-mail your CV
