Our client, a successful, small but growing financial services organisation, are recruiting for a Customer Services Assistant to carry out various roles within the Customer Services Department to ensure the processing of business runs smoothly. The ideal candidate would have both experience of working in Financial Services and either have worked in the Police Service or have close personal ties.


- Dealing with all external post and internal despatch received and distribute accordingly

- Answering telephone calls

- Preparing and inputting new business for processing in accordance with current procedures and processes

- Scanning all correspondence in accordance with agreed procedure

- Processing of maturities including inputting and amending bank details etc.

- Covering for Customer Services Manager dealing with ISA transfers in and lump sum investments

- Covering for Customer Services Manager dealing with reinvestment for ISAs and With Profit Bonds

- Inputting data onto the database

- Any other duties as required by the Chief Executive Officer

Skills and experience required:

- Excellent customer service skills

- Experience in administration

- Preference will be given to candidates with some financial services experience

- 5 GCSE C or above including Maths and English (or equivalent)
