Commercial Insurance Account Handler
£24,000-£26,000 + benefits

Entrepreneurial expanding Commercial Insurance Brokerage, servicing key market sector specialist schemes, as well as a growing book of open market business. Their clients are drawn from a broad sector of traditional and new industries - including for example - manufacturing, retail, hotel and leisure, high tech and life sciences etc. They place business in a wide company market as well as at Lloyds, and enjoy strong working relations with key insurers.
They are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to complement their team, who can offer a solid product and market knowledge across the main classes of business - Property, Public & Employers Liability, Commercial/Fleet Motor, Professional Indemnity, Legal Expenses etc.
This role will involve working closely with Account Executives and Directors to provide a seamless service in the servicing of new and existing clients.
Speaking with clients to accurately identify their insurance and risk management requirements; preparing competitive new business and renewal quotations; handling mid-term adjustments and responding to day to day queries and correspondence. Liaising with Underwriters to obtain the best terms.
Skills & experience required:
3 years + current/recent Commercial Insurance Broking experience, demonstrating a confident product and market knowledge across a range of non-marine risks.
Strong interpersonal skills, confident to quickly build a rapport with clients, and to develop strong long term relationships.
