Pensions Consultant - Home Counties - £80,000
An experienced Pensions Consultant is required by Bond Williams Recruitment for a great opportunity to join a growing in-house pensions team and will assist in driving the corporate pensions agenda across the business.
This role with require travel within the UK and occasionally to European sites.
This role offers great exposure across the organisation as well as a flexible working culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
Support or lead, as appropriate, corporate-driven pension projects primarily including M&A, risk reduction and liability management exercises, and trustee interaction for the main Defined Benefit (DB) schemes
Drawing on your current awareness of industry developments, you'll provide expertise and advice in the effective running and development of significant pension projects and other DB/DC schemes as required
Develop effective internal and external presentations to clearly communicate the on-going progress of key projects and the key decisions required
Commercially-minded you will be comfortable with the challenges of managing a range of complex DB and DC pension schemes, working in a fast-moving corporate environment
What are we looking for….
Demonstrable knowledge and experience as a strategically-minded project manager, with a proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Expertise and knowledge of current developments in the pension arena
Experience of UK DB pensions - plans ideally including scheme carve outs/mergers
Ideally holding (or close to qualifying) for an industry qualification (for example FIA / PMI), you will be working in a consultancy or in-house pensions management environment
