My client is a multidisciplinary consultancy that operate on a nationwide basis. Their typical project would be with some of the leading Retail, NHS and Education companies, meaning no project will ever be the same. Their Birmingham office is looking for a Structural Engineer to join there rapidly growing team where they would have a very hands on approach to their work load. My Client has helped many of their current and past Engineers gain their chartered status.
Your new role
My client are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and driven engineer who is keen to develop their career as a structural engineer. The role will involve working as part of an established team in their Birmingham office, you will be there to manage and assist with the existing client base. This role then has the option to develop on to a team leading role with the view to manage a larger team and a greater portfolio as the role develops.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need a minimum of four years post graduate experience as a structural engineer, you will need to be working towards charter-ship, you will client facing and be comfortable assessing their needs. it is imperative that you are passionate to succeed and develop your career further. you will need to be comfortable using all usual materials, Steel frames, Timber, Concrete Masonry.
What you'll get in return
you will be offered a competitive salary of up to £30000 depending on experience, you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per year. The company will give you private health care and give you a generous pension contribution of 5%. As you will be working with many other chartered engineer you will have guidance and training to help you gain your chartered status.
