We are looking to recruit a 2 special educational needs teaching assistants with experience of working with pupils with Autism and challenging behaviour for a school in Stockport. Our client is a 3 three form mainstream school within easy reach of public transport and motorway and caters for pupils with special needs within a main stream setting. Salary will depend on experience. You would be working within a well-established learning support team with a supportive teaching team.

The role is a temp to perm positon with the school.

Must have:

-Experience of supporting pupils with Autism or other special needs that might relevant such
as in a residential or respite setting for Autism.
-Team-Teach, use of Makaton are desired but not essential.
-Special Educational Needs Experience in a care/school/PRU/Primary setting
-Understanding and experience of supporting/teaching young people on the spectrum
