Software Engineer - Complex Technology - Cambridge

Are you an experienced software engineer who is looking for a new role within a fun, fast-paced commercial environment? A small, tight knit team in Cambridge are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join their scientific research team.

This exciting new role will give the Software Engineer an excellent opportunity to work on cutting edge products at the forefront of the scientific engineering sector. As this is a relatively small team, you will need to take a hands on approach and career progression opportunities, although based on merit, will be ample. You will be taking lead on a variety of projects that will include hands-on software development as well as overall project management responsibilities and some client facing work.

You will be utilising your software programming and coding expertise to solve complex, real-world engineering problems, from writing the initial code to testing and application. You will be working on concepts right from the initial stage through to delivery which means you will be able to take ownership of your work.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or relevant field as well as experience with C. You will also need to have a basic understanding of electronics and embedded C. Experience with Linux and microcontrollers would be extremely beneficial.
