We are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with several exciting new opportunities working as Medical Representatives within the Diabetes arena. These exciting roles will be working across various territories in the UK, selling into targeted GPs and Practice Nurses.

Available Territories:
Lothian and Borders
Wilshire, South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Hampshire & Banes
Norfolk, Suffolk & Great Yarmouth

Required background:
Ideally Diabetes experience.
Experience of selling to GP's and Practice Nurses.
Knowledge of the UK Pharmaceutical industry and current NHS structure, key process streams, policies and likely future developments.
Strong selling, negotiation and networking skills.
Self-starter with ability to organise, prioritise and manage own workload.
Ability to present to customers with confidence and credibility.
ABPI Qualification.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role responsibilities:
Achieve sales and activity targets as set by the company through effective planning and implementation of strategic plans.
Understand clinical and management priorities on the relevant territory.
Maintain up to date knowledge of products and therapy areas.
Understand and remain updated on the NHS environment both at a National and Local level.
Organise and host clinical promotional sales meetings.
Capitalise on business opportunities and provide value added services to customers.
Achieve commercially positive formulary, guidelines and protocol inclusion for promoted products in agreed accounts.
Compile, review, monitor performance against a strategic business plan.
Establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with customers and local KOL's.
Build and maintain relationships in key accounts to safe guard and grow business.
Ensure all company expenditure on territory is accurately monitored within budged and expense forms are completed, approved and submitted within the agreed deadlines.
Liaising with territory team members to build relationships, share information and generate business.
Deal with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
Represent the company in a professional manner.
Adhere to the ABPI code of conduct without exception.
