Join the small but busy PR and media relations team as Social Media & Corporate Communications Executive.

The role:

This leading integrated construction services business has been building their social media and digital presence, and are now looking for someone to join their PR and media relations team and build on this social and digital success. The role will see you supporting the delivery of the corporate media relations and PR strategy, focusing on digital and social media activities, but will also see you involved in the wider PR and media relations activities. The duties of this role will include organising and delivering a social media schedule, monitoring online channels and producing regular reports on social and digital media impact, writing and providing content for online channels, developing content to support PR / media relations campaigns, assisting with press team research and drafting press releases, and working both on wider media / PR projects and with the wider communications team.

What we're looking for:

You will need to have experience of working in a PR / media relations environment, either in-house or in a PR agency, and experience with social media, digital media, and developing content. You should have experience of using a CMS, ideally WordPress, have produced engaging and interesting social media content, and will ideally have worked on social and digital campaigns before, understanding the role digital and social media plays in such campaigns. The role will require excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to write for different audiences and channels, as well as attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability, and an ability to work on your own initiative. You should be able to manage your own time, be a quick learner, organised and professional, with a good understanding of and an active interest in the media, news, and current affairs.
