  • Liaise with the business unit finance teams and work collaboratively with them to ensure continual improvement in the quality and efficacy of reported information.

  • Working closely with the business unit finance and management teams to ensure that the annual budget and 3 year planning process is completed in a timely manner and ensure through critical review that budgets and plans proposed are both challenging yet realistic.

Financial Control and Risk Management

Promote a culture of risk awareness, control focus and 'doing the right thing’.

  • Ensure best practice processes for financial reporting and forecasting.

Business performance management

  • The FC will support the DFD in the preparation of monthly presentations on divisional performance for onward presentation to Sector and Group senior management. This will be required for monthly financial performance, annual Strategy and Budget and ad-hoc requests and will require assimilation of large amounts of information and succinct communication of key drivers/factors.

  • Support the DFD in enhancing the quality of the management information used to monitor performance of the business.

  • Monitor business performance with existing KPIs as well as developing and enhancing new indicators of performance.
