Due to the broad range of services that they offer, they have therefore achieved in building a large and highly impressive finance function to support the organisation through some key commercial and financial decisions.

They have an exciting opportunity within that team for a highly experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join them as they continue their journey of growth through future mergers and acquisitions.

As the Commercial Finance Business Partner you will enter a fast paced company that can offer you a clear progression path to the Head of Finance position. Your key responsibilities will include:-

-Acting as the sole finance representative in senior management meetings, confidently answering any challenging questions and in turn being able to challenge back when appropriate.
-Preparing and then presenting all financial results for the division in the meetings, taking full responsibility for the numbers.
-Acting as a true business partner to the leadership team, constantly advising on any key commercial decisions for the business unit.
-Addressing any issues within the current processes and procedures, ensuring that you implement any improvements and confidently explain your reasons behind the changes and why it will improve efficiencies.
-Management and delivery of reporting on financial performance.
-Flexibility to travel to other sites when required so that you have a full understanding of how the business operates as a whole.
-Leading financial projects to improve profitability.
-Lead the business annual budgets and forecasting process.
-Managing a small team of part qualified accountants, holding regular one to ones and setting clear and concise development plans.

You will need to a qualified accountant with a significant amount of drive and ambition. You need to be thick skinned and someone who can handle a challenging and changing environment. This role certainly needs a confident communicator with a large amount of gravitas who can easily command a room when required. You will be dealing with some strong characters in the leadership team so you must be an influential individual who is not afraid to take intelligent risks when necessary.
