QA Lead Insurance Tech Surrey upto £80K

An award winning financial services business, specialising in an extremely niche area of insurance, are looking to hire a QA Lead for their Kingston office. Working majorly in Microsoft tech stack, they do Agile the RIGHT way. This is a hybrid role which offers an ideal mix of hands on and team leading responsibilities. Ideal candidate would be someone currently in a Senior Automation QA role with a wealth of experience using Selenium C# NUnit.

As a QA Lead, you are expected to set up the test strategy, test automation framework for their platforms that delivers the most effective online quoting ability. You will have a complete autonomy to choose tools, automation language & further build up the QA team from ground up. In addition to the hands-on role, you will also look after the resource allocation, project management and test strategy related activities.

Ideal candidate would be someone who has spent a quality time setting up test automation frameworks from scratch with C# preferably (happy for someone to come from a non-C# background) using Selenium NUnit and automated the back-end APIs using SOAP UI/Postman. If not commercially, you should demonstrate an ability to mentor junior QA members and advice business technically. Last but not the least, we are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and a team player.
