Prospero Teaching are working alongside Special Educational Needs schools in Ealing, West London, who are looking for Psychology Graduates to work in various support roles!

You are particularly encouraged to apply if, as well as your degree, you have voluntary or paid experience in a Special Educational Needs environment - Whether this is working with adults or children, all Special Educational Needs experience is relevant!

However, this experience is not essential, and as long as you can show that you are motivated, lots of schools are able to offer training and developement.

About the schools...

* Cater for primary, secondary and post-16 age students
* Students have statements for a variety of needs, including Learning Difficulties (Moderate - Profound and Multiple), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and others
* Some schools have students with physical disabilities and complex medical difficulties
* All schools have highly specialist equipment to aid students' learning

About the roles...

* Teaching Assistant roles, all based in Special Educational Needs schools
* Responsibilities include assisting the learning of students with a variety of disabilities in lesson, assisting the class teacher in preparation of resources and ensuring health and safety of students
* You may find yourself working 1:1 with a student who has quite severe needs, in small groups or acting as a behaviour mentor!
* Highly challenging but highly rewarding roles.
