This person will work alongside our Digital team to identify onsite changes when needed to ensure good SEO hygiene. They will also identify authority building opportunities to brief into the outreach and digital PR teams.

Role description
Work with digital teams to devise annual content & campaign strategy
Conduct keyword research to optimise website performance in line with the strategy
Identify new and innovative ways for SEO optimisation and report the newest SEO developments to digital marketing team & digital team
Identify authority building opportunities
Report SEO ROI to senior management
Conduct SEO audits and new recommendations on SEO ranking
Stay up to date on the latest digital marketing trends and developments, especially within search engines
Manage housekeeping of Glow – the npower blog
Provide expertise to the digital team for on-site optimisation & content when required

Skills and experience
Experience working with technical SEO
Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms to enhance SERP ranking
Proficient in using SEO software such as Search Metrics, SEMrush and any other preferred tool
WordPress and HTML experience
Previous experience in conducting competitor analysis, domain authority analysis and site structure
Previous experience of content gap analysis through search queries
Strong understanding of Mobile SEO and Mobile rankings
Ability to report to senior stakeholders and across teams to deliver SEO ROI
Proven track record of SEO audits and recommend ways to increase ranking and traffic
Previous experience of data-driven SEO analysis and optimisation
Great campaign planning skills and conducting keyword research
Skillful in Google Analytics / Webtrends and keyword tools
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

c£35,000 + Bonus & Benefits
