Teaching Personnel are the preferred supplier for cover to a number of schools across Greater Manchester, in particular a large number of the Oldham and Rochdale schools, and the busiest term of the academic year is upcoming and schools will be looking to secure regular and reliable PE teaching assistants and cover supervisors in advance and for fixed term appointments.
Working as a PE teaching assistant and cover supervisor at our client schools, you will support teaching staff in the delivery of lessons ensuring students stay on task throughout, as well as being required to deliver pre-planned work schemes in the absence of the teacher. Previous school based experience is not an absolute requirement, but is preferred due to the nature of the work but applicants be need to have previous experience working with young people in either a coaching, youth work or tutoring capacity.
