Job Purpose
* To drive sales performance by building and executing sales plans to meet the business franchise goals for targeted accounts within assigned region.
* To develop effective professional relationships with a complex customer matrix to support the delivery of business results
* To establish the company as a leader in their Therapy area

Major Accountabilities
* To represent and promote a brand in the franchise, driving demand within the hospital and connecting customers to the full range of company resources
o Develops and owns business and key account plans to deliver on company strategies and meet sales goals and targets
o Raises awareness and builds confidence in the brands by providing up-to-date, balanced clinical and economic information
o Raises awareness of the appropriate/eligible segment of patients for treatment
o Ensures customers have a clear understanding of all the company resources at their disposal
o Demonstrates deep specialist product and disease state knowledge and leverages this to build professional customer relationships and support sound medical/clinical discussions
o Makes effective use of available technologies and channels to support sales calls
o Deploys and uses Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programmes; coordinates direct promotion programmes and facilitates pull-through activities
o Uses detailed knowledge of brands and competitor products' features and benefits during sales calls to improve sales
o Effectively allocates available resources

* To work collaboratively with the cross functional and/or co-promotional teams to support the maintenance of promoted brands formulary listing and funding

o Coordinates with all members of the cross functional team and/or co- promotional teams to ensure provision of evidence of economic benefits to support the value proposition and appropriate funding

* To build relationships and work effectively within a complex customer matrix, with a key focus on clinical customers, but also managing relationships with pharmacy, business managers etc.
o Develops and applies understanding of customer organisations and networks, and of diverse influencing factors that affect customer decisions (e.g. peer relationships)
o Demonstrates strong customer understanding and a consistent patient-centric approach to business activities and relationships
o Adapts and optimises approach and communications style during sales calls, responding appropriately to customer needs of the different stakeholders
o Proactively identifies needs and appropriately brings in other customer-facing roles as necessary for those Trusts requiring full customer-facing support

* To differentiate the company as a leader in the Therapy area
o Ensures that company products and supporting services are broadly understood and available to more patients and customers
o Demonstrates a focus on better health outcomes, taking into account the healthcare professional and patient experience
o Shares learning and best practice between customers to help them meet their needs
o Shares learning and best practice within the cross-functional and/or co- promotional teams
o Shares feedback gained from customer interactions with customer-facing team and broader cross-functional team to improve future customer interactions
o Works cross-functionally to ensure alignment and coordinated planning within the local customer-facing team
