A Global Financial Services organisation currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master to join their established but growing Technology Practice.

Overall purpose of role

As an experienced Agile Team Lead/ Scrum Master, your overall purpose will be to work with the development tools team to ensure prioritised items are delivered in the most Agile way either in Scrum or Kanban. You will also be required to ensure effective collaboration between remote teams and be responsible for resolving all manner of issues to enable the efficient delivery of an ambitious plan of work.

Person Specification

  • Knowledge/experience of working on/or leading an Agile project team, using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Possess an Agile mind-set and bring teams to an even higher level of performance, by promoting self-organising teams
  • Experience in bringing teams to an even higher level of performance, by promoting self-organising teams
  • Have experience in coaching fellow Scrum Masters
  • Project Management experience ideally within the banking sector
  • Must have a proven track record of concurrently managing technical projects of strategic significance via third party suppliers and internal resources
  • Project mobilisation / initiation / planning experience in addition to management of established projects
  • Must be able to demonstrate stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge/experience of using Atlassian Tools such as JIRA and Confluence, experience of HP PPM product for project governance is advantageous.

  • Knowledge and demonstrable practical understanding of delivering change projects into ITIL based organisations
