The Rehabilitation Model for the region is also being reviewed to ensure that we can meet the demands of the population in the future.

In addition to the clinical commitment the successful candidate will have opportunity to contribute to appropriate facilities for Care of the Elderly in the community. These new posts will form part of a wide multidisciplinary team. A further sub-speciality interest may be agreed depending on individual interests and service needs.

The consultant job plan is flexible and open to negotiation on appointment. Additional EPAs may be offered on appointment for participation in the General Medical on-call rota.
Prospective candidates will require to be on the GMC Specialist Register and will hold a CCT or be within 6 months of obtaining the certificate.

Applications for part-time or job share employment are also welcome.
