Account Manager / Specification Sales - Flooring / Interior Design

Job description

We are looking for an Account Manager in the Midlands area. The Account Manager will be responsible for all sales activities for assigned accounts and region and will be reporting to the Sales Director UK & Ireland.

Knowledge and skill requirements

• Sales experience within the interiors, architect & specification markets.
• Strong sales skills including negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to learn quickly in a high-intensity environment.
• Eager to meet sales targets and budget.
• Willing to work to a flexible schedule and from time to time overnight travel.

Responsibilities and duties

• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers.
• Follow up on new leads, identify new sales prospects.
• Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationships.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closing, follow up and adherence to goals.
• Communicate new products and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activities to the sales director.
• Identify and resolve customer concerns.
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and other events.
