Java Developer / £30,000 - £75,000 / Central London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Java Engineer to join a super sexy and ground-breaking security company in Central London. Their focus and goal is to revolutionise banking security and they need the best of the best to achieve this. With a positive mindset and a strong can-do attitude, the sky?s the limit!

You will be walking into a dynamic and fast paced environment where you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining a highly transactional Java platform. You will be working with a motivated and likeminded team where you will be able to continuously develop and progress in your role. You will need to be able to work to a high standard under pressure as well as prioritising tasks, as requirements are consistently evolving.

We are eagerly looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following skills in their day to day activities:

  • Java, Java, Java
  • Confident using new languages, frameworks, or technologies
  • Strong knowledge of object oriented design and development best practices
  • Experience with Continuous Integration
  • Worked with JSON-based REST APIs before

Bonus points for:

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related degree from a top university
  • Knowledge of Spring Frameworks including Spring Security, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
  • Having a working knowledge of Docker, UNIX-based operating systems, and micro-services
  • Familiarity with cryptography and security practices
