Director, Clinical Project Management

Office Based in South East England or Home Based

Up to 120,000 p.a. plus package (negotiable)

A mid-sized full service Contract Research Organisation with a presence in excess of 50 countries globally which is currently enjoying record financial results off the back of a number of strong client wins is seeking to capitalise on this growth by hiring a Director, Project Management on a permanent basis, to be based from their offices in South East England (or home based if required).

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide oversight, strategic direction and act as an escalation point for project teams at a portfolio or programme level.

- Perform line management of (Senior) Project Directors and (Senior) Project Managers and drive their development, with up to 8 direct reports.

- Implement and develop initiatives and processes across the project management function and the business internationally in conjunction with other members of the leadership team.

- Ensure that undertaken projects and programmes are carried out in accordance with ICH-GCP, Company SOP's and any other applicable regulations or guidelines.

- Proactively play a key role in the business's efforts to bring in new business by attending and leading bid defences and developing proposals alongside the commercial teams.

Required Experience:

- Significant full service project management experience, with experience of leading Phase II-III studies in particular.

- Excellent knowledge of ICH-GCP and other applicable regulations and guidelines.

- Comprehensive financial management experience working with multi-million USD budgets.

- Experience of carrying out bid defences and working on RFP's.

- Life Science or Business degree at Bachelor's or higher (though alternative healthcare qualifications will be considered).
