Billing/Sales Ledger Assistant Assistant Immediate Start Knutsford

Client Details

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Billing Assistant to join a leading global service sector business based in brand new offices in Knutsford. This company have a global presence and are recruiting due to continued on-going expansion in their European business. They are a market leader in their industry and are investing heavily in the business over the next 12 months making it an exciting time to join.


The role of Billing Assistant is an immediate temporary requirement for 6 months, however this could be extended. You will be working closely with the Finance Team and reporting into the Billing Manager. You will be responsible for:

Preparing sales invoices and sales journals, any doSOXents/journals related to sales transactions (Excel and Oracle).

Issue/record sales invoices to accounting software (Oracle).

Assisting in the preparation in the monthly sales analysis and reports by the product and by the region or country.

Contacting the sales team to acquire accounting information.

Continuously applying internal controls under SOX to ensure adequacy and adherence to company policies and procedures.


In order to apply for the role you should:

Have previous experience in A Sales Ledger/Billing role

Be available on 1 week notice or less for an immediate start

Ideally experience of SAP or Oracle (not essential)
