A business that cover all areas of Glasgow for TV aerial installations, aerial fitting & aerial repairs.

They can also provide and supply the installation of alternative digital television systems, such as Freeview, Freesat, European and Sky TV in the Glasgow area.

Key Responsibilities:

The wed design team build WordPress websites and as an apprentice Web Developer you will be responsible for taking graphic design visuals (PSDs) and transforming them into responsive, accessible and intuitive WordPress sites.

  • The creation of responsive websites using the WordPress CMS
  • The creation of responsive eCommerce websites using WordPress
  • Providing support and training to end users
  • Securing & updating existing website
  • Managing Domain name and DNS records
  • Phone & Remote support to clients (training provided)
  • Website Analysis & Report Generation (training provided)

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of however full training will be given

  • HTML, CSS & JavaScript (JQuery)
  • PHP & MySQL (PHPMyAdmin)
  • WordPress Theme creation
  • Graphic Design

Further required skills:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

Qualifications

  • You must have at least 5 National 5 grades, both qualifications must include Maths and English.

Additional Information:

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (some occasional Saturdays)
