As a penetration tester/ethical hacker you will be working alongside both senior and junior members of the team helping with the scoping and delivery of penetration testing on the Vodafone UK estate.
A penetration test could include;
Testing Wifi Networks
Social Engineering a store
Ensuring that our new apps are watertight
Getting a shell through an RCE
You will be supporting the team in identifying vulnerabilities, as well as safeguarding the organisation against failure and loss due to unreliable systems and processes. You will provide support in developing tests in compliance to policy and industry regulators. You will be providing support to probe the organisation’s network, attempting to find any areas which are vulnerable to attack and identifying methods by which attackers could exploit security flaws. This requires individuals to have a mix of ethical hacking skills, a full driving licence and a willingness to learn.
Operate Ethical Hacking Environment and Services
Execute security tests based on predefined scope and methodology
Operate tools and lab environment
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Execute research activities to discover zero-day vulnerabilities
Respond to technical queries related to penetration testing reports and findings
Provide remediation advice
Develop and review design material for ethical hacking lab environment
Design and develop templates and guidance for test types
Develop exploits and POC code
Cyber security Interest/knowledge
Web / Mobile Applications Testing
Web Services / Infrastructure Testing
CEH OR CISSP
