The Opportunity
A significant opportunity for a System Integration Manager to lead the FCASW Seeker System Integration and Proving Team from the start of the Concept Phase. FCASW is a joint programme between the UK and French Governments involving several of Europe's leading defence equipment suppliers, who will be engaged in pushing the boundaries of latest sensor technologies.
The Role

- Leadership of System Integration and Proving Team for the multi-sensor RF/EO FCASW comprising seeker level hardware/software/firmware integration including seekers for both HWIL and data-gathering trials.
- Provide the primary interface between the FCASW Weapon Level System Integration/ Proving Communities and the Seeker Team for all aspects of the Seeker System Integration/Proving, including working closely with the FCASW Weapon Level Core Teams in support of delivery of the trans-national FCASW programme.
- Specific Programme Responsibilities: - Integration of Sub-Systems for test and proving purposes to deliver overall functionality, including interface of Seeker to Weapon. Preparation of all up system for both factory level test regimes, and airborne trials platforms. Delivery of functioning hardware to programme for verification of system performance.
- Interface with the test solutions team, driving the definition of the test solution requirement.
- Interface with the Environmental Engineering Department to request and then support the powered' testing conducted during thermal, vibration and shock testing on the Seeker hardware.
- Delivery of the task packages and programme contract requirements on time and on cost, including supporting cost estimating, cost forecasting, cost to completion review, risk management.
- Delivery as owner of key task packages within the overall Primavera Plan.
- Active member of the wider FCASW Engineering team in support of overall system performance at Weapon level.
