Harvey Nash's is working on a very unique role for a heavily funded start-up company with office based in the west coast of Scotland. They are looking for a Systems Architect to join them on a permanent basis who can design, build and lead a distributed team. This role is also available on a remote working basis with the attending the office only 3 times every quarter for meetings.

The role:

This is an incredibly challenging and demanding role which be ideally suited to someone looking to move away from pure development and into more of a consultative role. You will be working heavily in network layers, P2P, along with developing in C++ and Rust. You will be delivering the application architecture and designs to meet the business requirements. Provide technical advice both internally and externally to their end clients.

About you:

Ideally be at a degree level in computer science or similar with very strong analytical and problem solving skills. You will have an extensive technical background and be well versed in C++ programming, with ideally some exposure to Rust and be well versed in networking protocols, ie Network layers, P2P networks all within an agile working environment. Perhaps performing the role of a Senior / Lead Engineering looking for that step up, or already an established architect looking for that next exciting move to sink your teeth into.
