IT Field Support Engineer

Up to £27k dependant upon experience


Our client is a leading IT solutions provider with a well established and growing customer base. As part of their business expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced engineer to fulfil a multi skilled role both field based and working in house.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a range of key technical skills encompassing some of those listed but equally the passion and aptitude to learn and develop new ones. These are some of the technologies you will be exposed to.

  • Telecoms Hosted / Mitel / NEC / Avaya / Panasonic / 1308 Cabling
  • Network CCNA / Watchguard / Sophos / Draytek
  • Office365
  • Microsoft Domains
  • Server 2012 / 2016
  • On premise exchange
  • IT Support
  • Customer Services
  • Windows Deployment Services
  • On site engineer
  • CCTV IP and Analogue
  • VMware / Hyper V
  • Security experience such as ISO27001 and Cyber
  • Driving Licence
  • Access Controls
  • SANs
  • WAN technologies

The ideal applicant should have exposure to Microsoft products, as well as knowledge of networking, VoIP and WAN products. Flexibility across the department and site work will add variety to the working day. The team environment is supportive and well established but the right individual must be happy working autonomously as well as part of the team. You will be a confident communicator, customer facing and a practical problem solver.
