Our client is experiencing significant growth and as such they are seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Financial Director. Based in South Leeds, they are easily accessible to the motorways with excellent public transport links. The ideal candidate will have a varied accounts background with specific experience of Sage line 50. The company turnover is c£5M, with expected growth of over 30% within the next financial year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Bank reconciliation
- Payroll, including calculation of commission rates
- Working with the purchase ledger administrator, processing payments, providing payment forecasts
- Processing expenses
- Journal entries
- Accounts to Trial Balance
- Updating fixed assets and depreciation
- Management accounts, producing P&L and Balance sheet.
This is an excellent role for an experienced accounts professional. They are looking for an individual who has a can-do attitude, you will ideally have a varied accounts background within an SME. Experience of Sage Line 50 is required.
This is an excellent opportunity as the client can offer progression and scope to develop. Salary is flexible dependant on experience £23,000 to £30,000. They may consider study support.
