A leading Taunton based chartered accountancy practice, is looking to bolster their teams with the addition of a Commercial Senior - Accountancy Practice, in a role with progression to on offer, in a key pivotal addition to this successful and growing team.

The role as a Commercial Senior - Accountancy Practice offers excellent career progression potential for individuals looking to further their career in the profession in a more commercial, industry focused role, working for the firms larger clients, analysing financial data and information.


Joining as a Commercial Senior - Accountancy Practice, based in the firms Taunton offices, you will take a lead role in the the production and delivery of meaningful financial and business information, to improve financial performance and recommend areas for improvement, working a wide spectrum of the firms larger clients, across varied industries and turnovers. This will involve analysing financial data, transferring onto Excel, to report to clients in a more meaningful and understandable format, forecasting, management accounts and other work. As a result of growth in this team and department , excellent progression prospects are on offer.


You will be a qualified ACA / ACCA, or at part /finalist level, with a background in accountancy practice, preparing accounts as a Senior / Semi Senior and looking for a a more commercial/industry focused role, where you can add value to clients. Or, you may have a commerce/industry background and be able to demonstrate strong experience of using advanced functions of Excel for data manipulation, together with a good working knowledge in preparing charts and Pivot tables. Also with analytical skills and the key ability to interpret data, with a practical knowledge of Sage Accounts and other industry standard accounts packages.

Job Offer

£24,000 - £33,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
