User Acceptance Test Manager with strong retail banking experience an absolute must.

Working on a large T24 systems upgrade programme. User Acceptance Test Manager

The T24 upgrade programme will be replacing the current Core Banking system with an upgraded version and upgrading the infrastructure for the enterprise Warehouse. The programme is expected to impact up to 80% of the banks functions.

The programme requires an experienced UAT Manager with strong retail banking experience. They must have a track record of successful delivery of complex testing in a dynamic environment. They should have experience of testing upgrades and/or data migrations. They must have a proven ability to interact with senior stakeholders, with the programme having visibility to the highest levels within the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and document the UAT approach.
  • Lead the workshops with the business teams to drive out test scenarios and acceptance criteria to prove the T24 upgrade maintains business functions as of today and meets any new functionality requirements that are in scope.
  • Put a framework in place for the efficient creation and use of the test assets from System Integration Test.
  • Ensure the framework can easily identify which test scenarios will be used for UAT as well as SIT, and which ones will be UAT only.
  • Create a test schedule of activities based on testing requirements from the business teams.
  • Ensure business teams sign up to test schedule.
  • Confirm resource requirements to execute the test schedule.
  • Ensure pre-requisites are met in line with the schedule (test data in place, test scenarios initiated from front end to feed UAT).
  • Manage all the logistics of the UAT activities, co-ordinating with all the business teams.
  • Implement an efficient reporting mechanism for UAT, for business and project stakeholders in line with programme reporting.
  • Work with Environments Manager to ensure UAT environment is set up as per requirements.
