Our Client, a service provider and independent consultancy are seeking a Teamcenter/ NX-CAD Support Engineer to become part of an established team working in the automotive sector, on site at a Bedfordshire based Client.

What you will do

As a Teamcenter/ NX-CAD Support Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Assist in the preparation, configuration and administration of Teamcenter
  • Teamcenter/ NX-CAD Support service for Design and Manufacturing in the Automotive Environment - including logging and progressing support calls
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of test plans for the applications being supported
  • Evaluate and identify solutions to technical issues on supported applications
  • Prepare and deliver high quality demonstrations to users

What you will have/be

As a Teamcenter/ NX-CAD Support Engineer you will be/have:

  • Degree or Apprenticeship in a relevant field
  • Proficient in the use of NX CAD product suite
  • Strong abilities in the use of Teamcenter
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic capabilities to resolve user issues
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Good Windows 7 / 10 administration skills
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles to Foundation level
  • Ability to work alone or in a team
  • Full Driving License

Experience of the following would be an advantage

  • Experience of 1st / 2nd line support using a recognised ticketing system
  • Microsoft Certification or equivalent industrial qualification
  • Experience in other 3D modelling applications (Catia, AutoCad) an advantage
  • Available and willing to travel.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server environment (both Windows Server 2008 and 2012)
